Work

My Work

In 1992 I was appointed Lecturer, and in 1993 Senior Clinical Lecturer in Public Health and Epidemiology and Honorary Consultant in Public Health Medicine at the University of Birmingham. Since then the Deparment in which I worked grew enormously, and is now a large and thriving community of teachers and researchers. I retired due to ill health in April 2006, but remain an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer, and participate in research as well as contining to teach on the MPH and Specialist Trainees in Public Health.

These pages detail some of the key aspects of my work and career until my retirement. Please follow the links on the left to get an idea of what I do now, what I have done in the past, and about my teaching and research interests and publications.

A lot of my work in the field of cystic fibrosis can be viewed on CFStudy.com
